Chamomile Tea
After listening to the news …
I meditate as fear grips my heart
Chant Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya
Send my prayers to the east
over the Rincon Mountains
I watch as my chest and jaws tighten
Chant Nam-myoho-renge-kyo
Send my prayers to the west
over the Pacific Ocean
I shiver as I spiral to dark thoughts
Send my prayers to the north
beyond the North Pole
I breathe deep and gaze at the the open sky
Chant May all Beings be Free From suffering
Send my prayers to the south
past Antarctica
I make Chamomile tea
Sip a two-teabag cup
Beam love to you and all beings

Thank you. I had acupuncture yesterday, and my therapist has asked me to do a 30 day fast from the news. I start today. xoxo
