I am the Sungiving Sun I am the Raingiving Rain I am the Windin the rosebush star in the night sky Awake

deathI know you are with mea constant companionyou have taken my mother, fatherand now my best friendI want to be bigger than my grieftranscend the lossmake it into philosophical sandwichesto serve with teaI can only shout, shake my fistsmy friend is deadher body turned to ashI weepand bow my head

I am breathingbeautylight and darkin and outgoes my breath

treesside by sidelimbs and rootsentwined in silent harmony

  clouds drift bywithout resistanceor pause  

one bud – reluctant to open dries and falls to the ground content to be unexpressed

velvet rose petalsthorny stemsoft and hardall in one

  listen to sparrow allow wind to play in hair observe passing cloud
